Christa Gloster (they/them/theirs) is deeply passionate about working with those in sexually diverse, gender diverse, and neurodiverse communities across the life span. Additionally, Christa centers the lived experiences of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) communities in their work. 


Christa’s professional background includes 10+ years of higher education experience, LGBTQIA+ training/ advocacy, educational program development, residential crises response, and case management . They have also worked in a community mental health setting providing therapy to children and their families. Christa firmly believes in collaboration in the therapeutic process and uses different modalities to tailor their support to their client’s needs including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Their work is rooted in Systems and Community Cultural Wealth theories. They focus on addressing systemic harm, the importance of community, and helping clients grow an extensive understanding of themselves. 


Christa earned a BA in Psychology from the University of South Florida, an MS in Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a MSW from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. In their free time, they enjoy reading, spending time with friends, watching Anime, traveling, and taking power naps.
