Glenda Lezeau
M.A. Clinical Intern, Waynesburg University
Glenda (she/her/hers) is a Haitian-American counseling intern currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is in her second year of training and is under the clinical supervision of Michelle Collins, LCMFT.
Glenda is passionate about serving the Black community and breaking the stigma around mental health. She believes that a client’s challenges or conditions do not define them, and she holds space in a unique and affirming way that allows individuals to see themselves beyond their circumstances. Personable and approachable in session, Glenda enjoys moments of deep reflection on her clients’ stories and is honored to witness their resilience.
She integrates mindfulness into her work and recognizes the powerful connection between the mind, body, and soul - particularly through movement and dance. She also values non-traditional evidence-based practices, including Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT or “tapping”) and vagus nerve exercises, as tools for healing and emotional regulation.
While Glenda has experience working with diverse clients, she holds a special interest in supporting individuals navigating bipolar disorder. Her goal is to empower clients to reshape their narratives, reconnect with their strengths, and embrace a sense of wholeness on their journey of growth and healing.
