Tereza (Pronouns: She/Her/Hers) joins Asé as a counseling intern while pursuing her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Johns Hopkins University. Under the supervision of Michelle Collins, LCMFT.

Tereza earned her Bachelor's degree in International Relations, specializing in People's and Nationalities, from the University of California, Davis, where she also minored in French and History.

As the daughter of Czech immigrants, Tereza maintains a strong connection with her heritage. This connection has shaped her belief in the empowering nature of narrative therapy and the integration of traditional healing practices into modern psychotherapy.

Tereza's career in tech has been centered around building relationships and fostering positive working environments. Her passion for supporting individuals through personal and professional growth, cultivated during her tenure as a team manager, has propelled her towards a career in mental health counseling.

In her counseling approach, Tereza draws from her experience as a yoga teacher, emphasizing mind-body interventions such as mindfulness, meditation, and movement to promote holistic well-being. Tereza aims to create environments where individuals can authentically connect with themselves and others, fostering growth and well-being.

During her leisure time, you'll often find Tereza enjoying a post-yoga coffee, cooking with friends, or reading at the park.
