Licensed Clinical Social Worker, DC and MD Board Approved Supervisor

Kalphria (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has had over seven years providing clinical services in trauma-informed settings. She has obtained a Master’s in Social Work, Clinical Track from the University of Maryland-Baltimore and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and minor in Sociology from the Florida State University.

Kalphria seeks to hold space for individuals on the path to healing from trauma, violence, systemic oppression, abuse, and grief and loss. She is passionately committed to working with marginalized groups to address inequalities in race, gender, sexual identity and sexual orientation.

Kalphria grounds her therapeutic work in Systems Theory and uses tenets of Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing Therapy. In her free time, Kalphria enjoys traveling to expand her knowledge and experience with different cultures, attending events with live music, and tending to her plant babies.
