Mikela Moore, LGPC

Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor

Accepting new clients

Mikela Moore, LGPC (she/her), is passionate about supporting clients as they explore and show up as their authentic selves. As a fellow monotropic human, she loves working with ADHD, Autistic, and AuDHD folx as they explore and affirm their experiences. With over 6 years working in classroom settings, she especially connects with teens and young adults. Mikela brings compassion and creativity into each session, walking alongside clients as they navigate identity, stress, burnout, and find their footing.

Mikela is familiar with polyvagal theory and weaves this understanding into her work, alongside her training as a certified trauma-sensitive yoga instructor and professional massage therapist. Together, these inform how she helps clients reconnect with their bodies through movement, meditation, and mindfulness practices. She also incorporates executive function coaching because sometimes growing means finding systems that actually work for your brain. As a lifelong arts-and-crafter, she also enjoys bringing elements of creativity into the therapy space. She hopes to support her clients as they grow into their whole, authentic selves—body, mind, and spirit.

Mikela earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Pacific Lutheran University and a Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. She is under the clinical supervision of Michelle Collins, LCMFT.
