Patience Kennedy, LGPC
Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor
Patience is under the supervision of Michelle Collins, LCMFT
Patience is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) who offers a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. Patience believes therapy is a collaborative process and works alongside clients to build self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
Patience’s approach is client-centered and strengths-based, integrating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Patience has experience providing individual and group therapy to diverse clients and supporting concerns related to emotional regulation, self-awareness, and life transitions. I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, values, and goals.
Patience holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Indiana Tech. Patience’s clinical training includes providing therapy under supervision, conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and high-quality care.
Patience’s goal is to create a safe and empowering therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, supported, and comfortable being themselves as they work toward personal growth, resilience, and well-being at their own pace.
